Poetry in Motion: How God Sees His Children

Do you believe, truly believe, that God sees us as His masterpieces, His precious work of art? I pray that you do, because accepting that truth enables us to see ourselves in such a different light, His light. In John 17:23  Jesus prays to the Father that we, His children, would recognize and know that God the Father loves us just as God the Father loves and sees Christ Jesus. God the Father sees His Son as Perfect, Blameless, Beloved, Righteous, Well Pleasing, Delighted In. ALWAYS WELCOME IN HIS PRESENCE! And this is how He sees those of us who trust in Christ Jesus’ Beloved Name, not because of our works or grand efforts, lest any man should boast, (Ephesians 2:8-9) but because of our faith in the finished work of His Son for us on the Cross. Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are His workmanship (Poiema), created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” The Greek word used for “Workmanship” is actually “Poiema,” from which we …

Bread of Heaven: A Word of Rejoicing

Jeremiah 15:16 Your Words were found, and I fed on them, and Your Word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart. For Your Name is called on me, O Lord (YHVH) God of Hosts.” When I read this yesterday afternoon, I absolutely wept with thanksgiving. The words of truth and revelation came to life in an instant as I basked in the glorious presence of King Jesus in worship and adoration. So often, people miss the graciousness of God and His lavish love for His children. Although we lift our hands as an offering to Him, we are the ones who receive. “Your words were found, and I fed on them.” Yeshua Jesus is the Living Word of God and He alone is the Bread of Heaven. John 1:1 “In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” I have been meditating on the term “Poiema” meaning Poem, and how we, the beloved children of God, are His Poetry in motion (Ephesians 2:10.)
