The Requirement of Obedience: The Key to Stepping into Manifest Promises

“God doesn’t need our help, but He does require our obedience.” ~CANDICE COATES We often think that when the Lord says something, instructs us in a task, that the work of bringing that which He has spoken to pass rest upon our oh-too-small shoulders. When in reality the Lord only requires two things from us; our ‘yes’ and our obedience. Sometimes our work of obedience does require big moves and actions and many times, dare I say most times, it requires us being still and seeing the salvation of the Lord (EXODUS 14:13-14). When we take a journey through the second book of Chronicles, we find King Jehoshaphat. He is burdened on every side and weighed down by the impending assault of the enemy. There were many things that the king could have done. He could have rallied his troops. He could have called on allies. But what he did instead, was to call upon the King of Kings and seek His instructions for his next move. And in seeking the Lord in faith, the …

The Expectation of Suddenly!

I have got to say that the Word of God is true! Our Beautiful Savior, Jesus Christ, does not lie and never has. When He makes a promise to you, no matter how long it takes BELIEVE! Believe Him! Right now I am in the ‘spring’ of my life! I am seeing the fruit from seeds planted YEARS ago growing and budding and I am beyond humbled and filled with an overflow of joy and thanksgiving! It is in these moments that ‘suddenly’ has joined me at the table. Suddenly the trees where naked and the ground wore its usually winter-green dress and suddenly, the scent of cherry blossoms perfumed the spring air and the ground beneath our feet became as decorated as an intricately woven Persian rug! Suddenly. The definition of the word is simply, “quickly and unexpectedly.” ** Our Savior has a beautiful way of ‘suddenly’ showing up in the midst of darkness and storms, walking upon the waters (MT. 14:22-33), suddenly walking among flames of fire that should have consumed you but …

Declaring All the Reasons You Can

It is easy and practically the given norm of humanity to find all the reasons why we ‘can’t’ and shouldn’t do a thing that has been burning in our hearts to do. We can come up with the typical lists of why’s that range from financial restrictions, age, gender, and the all too famous stumbling block, time. We see and feel the burn for more, given to us by Christ Himself, swirling within us, and yet, like Moses we begin to tell the God of Creation who has called us to ‘speak’ that our mouths don’t work, as if when He called us and put that fiery seed to go forth in us, He didn’t know the so-called odds against us. In fact, it is because of those very odds that the Lord has called us to go forth and to do things that are seemingly impossible, things that take us out of our comfort zones, things that the word and statistics say we are disqualified to even pursue. “But God chose the foolish things …

Awaken the Dawn: Praising into the Promise

“My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise. Awake, my glory! Awake, lute and harp! I will awaken the dawn.” ~PSALM 57:7-8 Psalm 57 is a Psalm of David written while he was on the run for his life, hiding in caves from King Saul. For a lengthy amount of time, too much time for the innocent to run from the wrath and heat of anyone’s jealously does David in the aftermath of being anointed king, returning to tend his father’s sheep, killing Goliath–the champion of Israel’s enemy, flee to the caves in obscurity to preserve his life from the king and father-in-law he has pledged to serve. Talk about trouble within the family. Despite the many attempts on his life by his father-in-law, the then reigning king, Saul, does David still remain in his righteousness and presses deeper into the goodness of the Lord, even though there were times bitterness tried to sway him. In this instance, David, in the back of a dark cave cries …

Prophetic Word Going into 2020 by Briana Lassiter

*A Word spoken from the heart of  King Jesus for His children this new season. This is a season of increase where hopeful hearts are mended by the manifestation of the promises of God, where a riot of the roar of God uproots the enemy and spoils their camps. This is a season that is yours for the taking. Unprecedented wealth of nations is yours. For MY kingdom has come. The windows are open, open your arms to receive. Open your hearts to receive Me. What is being entrusted to you has not been entrusted to generations before. Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. My will is done. You are cleansed, you are blessed, you are appointed. This is a season of purging and cleansing so you can receive from my heart all that my heart desires for you. You are receiving new revelation, new revelation of fire, by fire. You are being purified blessed and cleansed. Come, my love, there is more work to do. And you have not yet begun to …

Claim Your Outcome: Choose Your Own Adventure pt 3

The choice is yours’. We’ve heard that in many different scenarios but often times we tend to shun away from that conceptual truth when it comes to our faith-walks. Yes, we as children of God, creatives seeking His divine purpose for our lives, have surrendered our lives and eternity to Him. Yes, we like Christ Jesus, should daily be in submission to His plan with a not our wills but Yours ever on our lips. In short, His will should always be our will…but we do have a choice. THE CHOICE TO TRIUMPH “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil,  in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.” ~DUETERONMY 30:15-16 From the onset of creation, our Heavenly Father has given us choices, choices that would dictate the course of our lives. It is never …

Guard Your Heart: Journies of Faith

“Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it spring forth the issues of life.” ~PROVERBS 4:23 The Lord has been telling me during this season not to allow the enemy to steal my joy. On the cuffs of that admonition, He in His grace, also reminds me that He has also been telling me to “not be nervous but to be expectant.” In all of this, with the ringing of the divine message saying, “guard your heart”, what came to mind was the image and scripture regarding the full armor of God. FULLY ARMED Reading the scriptures about the Armor the Lord calls us to equip ourselves with is how although He has instructed us to be fully dressed in this armor, He doesn’t tell us to fight. In fact, what He instructs us to do is to stand! “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” ~EPHESIANS 6:13 (See Eph. 6:10-20) The Lord wants us to …

Take Your Promise, A Prophetic Word for Passover: Season of Salvation pt 2

“My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.” ~PSLAM 89:34 In Psalm 89:34 the word of the Lord says, “My Covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that is gone out of my lips.” Several nights ago the Lord gave me a dream and in that dream, I was on vacation with a group of people. I looked out the window at the night sky and the sky was black but out of nowhere a cloud that looked like smoke upon the dark sky started to turn to the colors of the rainbow. The actual colors were red, yellow, purple, green, and blue. Suddenly the cloud began to move and as it moved it turned into a ring in the heavens. It was like an opening in the firmament and had Hebrew words going through it. But then the cloud-ring froze over and out of it poured snow. I watched people going out and standing with the light under this rainbow-ring that was now frozen with …

Begin: Poses the Promise

Begin: Take your steps in faith toward your promise and promised land. “… And Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him: “You know the word which the Lord said to Moses the man of God concerning you and me in Kadesh Barnea. 7 I was forty years old… …but I wholly followed the Lord my God. 9 So Moses swore on that day, saying, ‘Surely the land where your foot has trodden shall be your inheritance and your children’s forever, because you have wholly followed the Lord my God.’… …here I am this day, eighty-five years old. 11 As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in. 12 Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the Lord spoke in that day…”~ JOSHUA 14:6-12* Breathe. Breathe in the Rhema word of truth daily and let your soul be at peace. Believe. Believe what has been said to you by His Spirit…And now, begin. After allowing his mind to be conformed to the Rhema Word of promise, after having walked in the wilderness for 45 years, persevering in the …
