Get Ready to Take Your Mountain: A Fresh Look at the Series ‘Be Squared’

SPECIAL NOTE: It is my great joy and delight to be reintroducing this series especially during this season. For a few months now the Lord has been bringing ‘Be Squared‘ to heart and mind and it is recently that He instructed me to share it again. I feel in my spirit that this is truly a right-now word for the Body of Christ. Things truly are not what they seem no matter what world circumstances say. The Lord is releasing greatness, power, strength, and long awaited manifestations of inheritances and promises. With that said, here is the introductio to this series. My prayer is that you will feel the gifts in your spirit being stirred and hear with fresh revelation and confident trust the promises that the Lord has been preparing you for. The time is now! Be Squared! ~Candice Coates Squared. In terms of algebra, every pre-teen’s favorite subject, to be squared is to be raised to a higher power. A numeral goes from its singular numeric ability and is suddenly given a boost …

Dressed for the Appointment: Hope for the Promises to Come

*Revised from December 26th, 2012 Several years ago I was led to write a short message reminding many of my friends on Facebook to keep holding on to the Word of Faith and promise that Christ Jesus had given unto them. Now, years later, I am urged to do it again. The Lord laid this question upon my heart that only you can answer for yourself, really, and here it is. “Are you dressed and are you ready for the open door?” It is easy to be given a dream and a prophetic vision for your future/destiny/purpose, but it is a whole other thing to not only hold on to it but to be prepared for it at all times. With many of the trails that we face within the monotony of life, it is easy to lose hope in the dream, allowing it to be transformed into the elusive ‘carrot on a stick’ dangling just out of your reach. “Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him quickly out of the dungeon; and …

No Room For Worry: Faith for Creatives

*Published May 5, 2019 “Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” ~ROMANS 5:5 Whatever it is within our hearts that is being hoped for, that is in accordance with Christ Jesus’ perfect will for our lives and purpose, we can have rest and full assurance that it will come to pass! So with this truth, where is there room for worry? There is no place for it at the table that the Lord is preparing for His children that rest in Him and believe. Today, push out any worry! Evict the “what-ifs”. If your Heavenly Father has promised you through His Word and Rhema that He would do a thing in your life, then rest in His living Hope that does not disappoint for all of His promises are yes and amen in Christ (II COR. 1:20)! ~Poiema, Poetry in Motion *Photo by Priscilla Du Preez on Unsplash

Prophetic Word of Promise by Candice Coates: My Favorite Read

“My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.” ~PSLAM 89:34 During the Passover, Ressurection, Easter Season, the Lord gave me a prophetic word of promise for His children. This summer, as we draw into the season of harvest, the Lord has prompted me to reshare this word, as His covenant He will not change and His promises are yes and amen in Christ. The word is titled: TAKE YOUR PROMISE This word is for any who will receive, who will step out in faith, lift their hands and faces to the heavens, and ask for what He has placed upon their hearts to ask. He has already purchased everything we need for life and Godliness. He has truly finished everything. Anything we need is available. We need only believe, ask, and receive. And He is calling us to ask BIG! The Heaven’s are still open! See TAKE YOUR PROMISE, and release the promises of the Lord in your life today! ~Dream. Imagine. Believe. Do. CONQUER!

The Purpose in the Process: Part 3 of Power in the Process

“Anything good will often require a good amount of time.” ~Candice Coates Scripture: I Samuel 17:24-40 (I encourage you to read I Samuel 17 in entirety.) In I Samuel 17, we find the Children of Israel in the Valley of Elah, stationed there for forty days in fear. Why? Because the champion of the Philistine army, Goliath, has come to defy them. “Send me your best warrior!” He says. “If he kills me, we will be your servants, but if I kill him, you will be our servants.” Standing nine feet tall and likely weighing near a complete ton, it is understandable why the Israelites would see this giant and camp out in fear. Who could match his strength? Who could possibly bring him down? No one has the courage to do so…except one–David, the son of Jesse. Ironically, David was likely no more than seventeen years old and was a trained…shepherd, not a warrior. But he was a master of faith in the God if Israel and the world. David was also a poet and inventor of new musical instruments, instruments …

Faith & The Fast Lane: Faith for Creatives

“But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner.  For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.  And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” ~HEBREWS 6:9-12 Sometimes in the pursuit of our passion, the vision that the Lord has set ablaze in our souls, we find ourselves slowing down to a productive pace that does not match the zeal that is burning on the inside of us.  We look around us and see others seemingly tackling goals and gaining momentum with neck-break speed while we putter along. We wonder if our faith is enough.  The answer is yes, yes your faith is enough!  Your journey in pursuit of your creative passion and the calling that the Lord has placed upon your life …

Believe: Persevere in the Process

Believe: Believe what has been said to you by His Spirit From the time Caleb and Joshua spy out the Promised Land to the very moment that they are actually being led by the Lord to inherit it, 45 years will have passed. Throughout those years the entire generation of men of war who were meant to take the land for their posterity has died in the wilderness as aimless wanderers, having gotten close to what the Lord promised but never taking hold of it. Still, in the midst of the graves, the seemingly endless cycles, and monumental odds that could easily lead into doubt, Joshua makes his home in the Lord’s presence (EXODUS 33:11) while Caleb holds the promise of his mountain close to his heart. BELIEVE THE WORD OF PROMISE  The Word of Promise, The Word that is our sword of salvation against the enemy is our Rhema Word. “The definition for Rhema refers to a spoken word that is active or activated for your personal situation, a word that comes to life for you …

Good To Me: A Music Interlude

Psalm 63:3-6 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips. When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.” ~Poiema, Poetry in Motion
