About

Scenic Route: With any new adventure, one must not only explore the lay of the land but also establish who they are before they take the first step forward. Before Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) took His journey into the wilderness (the place of new adventure).

He was established by the affirming Words from Father God, that He is His Beloved Son in Who He is well pleased. (Rough paraphrasing of Matthew 3:16,17. In Matthew 4:1 He is then led into the wilderness or steps into His adventure)

Taking the time to share a blog is truly inviting others, strangers, into the secret rooms of your heart that you have created or are actually exploring for the first time yourself. It’s a discovery. You are inviting others to come along with you on a tour of the unexpected terrain of your thoughts.

It is a step made in vulnerability, but expressed with courage, because after all, you never know if anyone will accept your invitation in the first place, but still you press on.

So why the quote and the reference to Yeshua and the wilderness? I am a firm believer that whenever you start something new you must always remember your beginning because if you miss a step or forget the directions you can always refer back to the beginning.

  4. Not quite sure how to contact you, so feel free to delete this comment if you don’t want it here. Just wanted to ask you if you would be willing to give me some constructive criticism on a novel chapter I just wrote. I could really use the perspective of a fellow Sci-fi writing Christian and woman.

    If yes, go here: https://wordpress.com/read/post/id/66659497/673

Then follow the link at the bottom to the prelude, which is what I really need some perspective on. The poem is a set up for the prelude chapter, and the prelude is like the crime at the beginning of a police drama.

    • Hello there! Yes I would love to. I will check it out and get back to you soon. Btw your occasional browsing here helps a lot. You tend to point out site flaws I’ve overlooked. For instance making sure emailing me is a clear and easy thing to do. Thank you!
