Celebrating the Rising of the Son: A Word of Hope & Prayer of Power

It had been a long three days, long enough to make them feel like the darkest of years, slowly creeping by, snatching away hope and expectation with greedy fingers and leaving in its place, despair, disappointment, and confusion.

These were the days after the Passover, when the Lord God of all creation, hung on the cross for the sins and iniquities of the world and then was buried, in haste, in a borrowed grave.

Like that time, just a breath beyond two-thousand years ago, many in the Body of Christ are gazing into the fore, middle, and growing background of 2020 with the same feelings of despair and disappointment.

Where are the promises of God that He spoke to the hearts of many for this year? Where is the breakthrough? Where is the King?

PAUSE TO REMEMBER

Like the couple on the road to Emmaus (LUKE 24:13-35), our Lord is walking with each and every one of His beloved children, and He is walking with us because HE IS RISEN … we must open our eyes to see.

I am grateful, that just like with the two on the road who He later broke bread with, He first took the loving care and time to reveal Himself to them, illuminating the Holy Scriptures and prophecies concerning all regarding Himself, how He would suffer, be buried, and rise on the third day with all power in His nail-pierced hands.

What is it that you need to remember?

Remember that He is the God of all Time and Space.

Our Savior, though for the world at that time experienced the trauma of His crucifixion two-thousand years ago, was slain before the foundation of the world (REV. 13:8). That means before He said, “Let there be light,” He had already made provision to give vision in the darkness that would eventually rear its ugly head.

Even now with darkness and pestilence sweeping the nations, Christ has already provided the solution. He has already declared it is finished (JOHN 19:28-30)!

Remember that His promises are yes and Amen.

Whatever the Lord promised you, He promised you fully knowing that what we are experiencing today was sure to come. He knew this just as He knows that the seasons of seed, time, and harvest will come every year, that the sun will rise in the east and set in the west, and just as the wind will blow and none of us will ever know from where it comes (II COR. 1:20)

He is faithful in all that He is and all that He does, and just like we promised to redeem us and rise again, whatever He has promised you is sure to come to pass, and dare I prophesy that it will come suddenly!

Remember that He has risen with healing in His wings.

Remember the woman with the issue of blood (MARK 5:25-32)? The Word tells us that she believed that all she needed to do was to touch the hem of His garment and she would be made whole. Actually, what she was reaching out to touch was the Saviors tzit-tzit/tassles/ or fringes, which were also referred to as ‘wings.”

The scripture in Malachi 4:2, “But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.

She reached out in faith, resting full upon the unshakable truth of the word, and was healed by touching the Master’s wings!

Remember His is Risen!

Because our Savior is the Living Truth and Word, we can rest in confidence that He has risen with healing in His wings for all who will but believe and reach out in faith!

His Word remains true even in the darkest of times. Let us be reminded of His faithfulness and almighty power, that no darkness can contain Him and no trouble or disease halt, delay, divert or restrain Him, but at the very Name of Yeshua Jesus ALL MUST BOW (PHILIPPIANS 2:10-11)!

So like the children of Israel came out of Egypt with bounty and wholeness even though the had endured a hard bittersweet night, trust that He is bringing you out into all that He has promised and prepared for you even know.

He brought you out of sin and death, He can surely bring you out of this that the world is facing now and I am confident that He already has! Reach out and take hold of it in faith.

A Prayer for a Paradigm Shift

Father in Heaven, we thank you right now for your covenant of Grace that was enacted upon the cross of Calvary, that has redeemed us from the darkness of sin and slavery. We thank You, that Your blood stands not only as a testament that we have access to life, and that more abundantly but that we are also surrounded by a hedge of Your protection.

Father, we thank You that we rest in the grace and truth that because our Savior Has risen that we are now justified and made acceptable in You. And because He is risen we can take hold of the inheritance of healing that came through His finished work, and rising.

Thank You for the Light that shines from Him, brighter than any sun, piercing and scattering all darkness.

We thank You, Lord Jesus, that today we can see with clarity your mighty nail-pierced hand at work in and for us, and also through us.

May you see, from this day forward, deliverance and reconstruction where there appears to be destruction and devastation in Jesus’ Name. May we see your manifest promises springing forth in what had once seemed a mess. May we experience the fullness and overflow of blessing and breakthrough where we had once felt burdened and bound.

You are faithful and we rest in You and You alone! Thank you for being the Resurrection and the Life! Thank You for being our Redeemer, thank You for being our Shepherd Who leads us through to take us to, and thank you for being God!

We love You with all of our hearts and we thank You that you first loved us with an everlasting love.

All this we pray in matchless Name, King Yeshua Jesus’, AMEN!
