Chase the Birds of Prey: Word on Harvests

On July 11, 2018, the Lord Jesus in His goodness, gave me a word of encouragement about attacks that come during the times His children are supposed to be bringing in their harvests. And recently He encouraged me to share this with you all, even as I encourage myself.

When the word had first been given, it had not even been a full twenty-four hours before the enemy began attacking me concerning faith for a move of God that was coming within a certain amount of time.

Almost instantly FAMILIAR spirits of heaviness started to press upon me and pollute my thoughts with the intent to rob me of my peace. I began to confess my fear and shaking faith in the Lord and then I asked Him for understanding. When I asked, immediately He brought the image of the familiar spirits to my mind.

WHY? Because He had to remind me that every thought and every feeling is not my own. That the enemy is a deceiver and will do his darndest to rob us as his goal is to STEAL KILL and DESTROY: steal our hope, kill our faith and destroy our future.

Then the Lord in His Love reminded me of this scripture from JUDGES 6:3, “So it was, whenever Israel had sown, Midianites would come up; also Amalekites and the people of the East would come up against them.”

2 KINGS 13:20-21Then Elisha died, and they buried him. And the raiding bands from Moab invaded the land in the spring of the year. So it was, as they were burying a man, that suddenly they spied a band of raiders; and they put the man in the tomb of Elisha; and when the man was let down and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived and stood on his feet.

What is significant about these portions is that it is believed that EVERY YEAR AROUND THE TIME OF HARVEST ENEMIES WOULD COME ROB THE LAND OF ITS WEALTH.

“Then He said to him, “I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.” And he said, “Lord God, how shall I know that I will inherit it?” So He said to him, “Bring Me a three-year-old heifer, a three-year-old female goat, a three-year-old ram, a turtledove, and a young pigeon.”  Then he brought all these to Him and cut them in two, down the middle, and placed each piece opposite the other; but he did not cut the birds in two. And when the vultures came down on the carcasses, Abram drove them away. ~GENESIS 15:7-11

Fellow Creatives OUR HARVESTS are being brought in, but the enemy is circling like birds of prey. Like Abraham did on the day God cut His covenant with him, let us rebuke the birds of prey, drive them away from the covenant promises that He has given us, and guard with diligence our hearts, minds and every promise and prayer we are offering up.

Our God and Father is faithful and LOVES US MIGHTILY. HE WILL DO IT!!!! (See GENESIS 15 For Abraham’s story against the birds of prey.)

Remember always, the Kingdom suffers violence, but the violent take it by force (Matthew 11:12). We are the violent who on the offensive, take what is ours and put the enemy under our feet!
