“Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” ~Isaiah 43:19
The season changes. The smell in the air is different. The sky is painted with dusty roses early in the morning, and dusk comes sooner than it did before. Still, you wait in the tangent, as the temperature changes from balmy heat to skin tingling chill and the delight of donning your sweater…not so much because you like the woven threads but more than anything because it is new!
Today is a new day for I came for the soup… and that feeling of delight washes through me (Candice) the same way it does when I realize that I am standing just at the doorway to Autumn, my absolute favorite time of the year.
Once upon a time, ICFTS was a blog centered around my growth and discovery of my maturing and once stifled creative voice. Today the blog becomes a community, geared toward helping you discover your creative voice and vision and to bring life to your dreams through Christ-centered faith.
Apart from the fabulous facelift to the site, there are new menu topics and sub-categories for you to explore, all geared toward encouraging your creative faith and growth.
- Daily living: Musings and clarity about everyday life for men and women learning to live life to the fullest every day!
- Family & Relationships: Conversations and clarity exploring the many facets of relationships and how we can best thrive in them as Creatives, from that with Christ, Christ community, family, friendships, romance, and more.
- Discover: Finding new trends for Creatives, from food to fashion and even gadgets, that make us look, feel, do, and enjoy life better!
- Creatives in Action: Interviews highlighting different Creatives as they journey through faith bringing life to their visions, and the advice they have to share with others who look for wisdom to take their own creative steps of faith.
In addition to the new menu items, you will notice new sections on the front page of ICFTS to help you better navigate the content of this creative community.
If you are new to ICFTS and want to know more about this creative space read How ICFTS began, The Mission, as well as my bio, titled I’m Candice. For those of you who have been faithful friends and followers over the last near five years, welcome back!
There are so many things the Lord has purposed to be shared and sown through this creative ministry and I am grateful not only to be a part of it but to share each moment with you.
Be sure to glean as well as sow by sharing articles and this site with others. There are so many more creative adventures ahead!
Welcome back to the table!
