Monday’s Muse Writing Prompt: January 11th 2016

OPENING LINE (S): “ Slurping, s/he sucked in his/her lips cooling them with his/her tongue, dropping the spoon back into the bowl with an unintended but dramatic splash. Looking forward, his/her heart all but stood still. The soup had burned his/her lips almost as badly as their words just had.”

RULES: Using the above line and the picture provided, (Or one of your own choosing) create a story (or even a poem) within up to 20 minutes.
